For palletised heavy haulage, there is a short process that you will need to go through to obtain your EORI number, allowing us to complete the necessary customs requirements for you.

You will first need to apply for a GB EORI number by using your National Insurance Number, and convert this to an XI EORI number specifically for Northern Ireland. This can all be done through the government portal. https://www.gov.uk/eori/apply-for-eori

We will need your XI EORI number before we despatch your order.

If your order is for an in-stock item, you can choose to have it collected from one of our showrooms at checkout. If your order is for a special order item, it can be delivered directly to you or to one of our showrooms if you prefer to have us handle the receipt of the goods.

Suitable for both commercial and domestic applications, this versatile product can be applied by hand or pump and is designed to deliver smooth and level surfaces from 3mm to 40mm in thickness.

Ultraplan 3240 is designed for professional floor levelling of up to 40mm in one pour, ensuring a perfect finish for a variety of flooring types.

Application Areas

Ultraplan 3240 can be used in a variety of settings, both domestic and commercial, including:

• Concrete and Screed

Suitable for levelling and smoothing new or existing concrete and screed surfaces.

• Stone and Ceramic

Ideal for use over stone and ceramic tiles, providing a smooth, even surface.

• Timber Floors

Can be used on timber substrates such as plywood, chipboard, and tongue-and-groove floorboards.

• Underfloor Heating

Perfect for use with both underfloor heating systems and for encapsulating electric cable under tile heating systems.

Product Coverage and Mixing Instructions

To determine the amount of self-levelling compound needed, multiply the area in square metres by the desired depth in millimetres and then by 1.4. This calculation ensures accurate coverage and avoids wastage.

  • 6 sqm at 3mm
  • 4.5 sqm at 4mm
  • 3.6 sqm at 5mm
  • 3 sqm at 6mm
  • 2.6 sqm at 7mm
  • 2.3 sqm at 8mm
  • 2 sqm at 9mm
  • 1.8 sqm at 10mm (Typical for underfloor heating)

• Mixing Instructions

  • Pour a 25kg bag of Ultraplan 3240 into 4.25-4.5 litres of clean water.
  • Mix with a low-speed electric mixer until homogeneous and lump-free.
  • Allow the mixture to rest for 2-3 minutes, then re-stir before use.
  • Use the mixed product within 20 minutes (at 23°C).

Preparation and Application

Proper preparation of the substrate is crucial for optimal results. Ensure the substrate is solid, free of dust, loose particles, paint, oil, gypsum residues, or other contaminants that could compromise the bond. Specific preparation steps include:

• Cleaning and Priming

For timber substrates, ensure they are clean and solidly fixed, sealing open joints with Planiprep Fix. Cementitious surfaces not sufficiently compacted should be removed or consolidated with Prosfas or Primer EP. Cracks should be repaired with Eporip. Prime the substrate with Eco Prim Grip Plus or Eco Prim T Plus before applying Ultraplan 3240.

• Application Method

Apply Ultraplan 3240 in a single coat from 3mm to 40mm thickness. Use a spiked roller to minimise aeration and achieve a smooth finish. The self-levelling properties of Ultraplan 3240 ensure a surface ready to accept various floor coverings.

Ultraplan 3240 is available in 25kg bags and pallets of 40 x 25kg bags, providing flexibility for projects of all sizes.
